Who we are
The Employment Team offers a dedicated service which assists refugees and other migrant job seekers to secure employment.
With realistic links to employers in Coventry and surrounding areas, the team offers support to secure appropriate training, qualifications and relevant work experience.
Whether it’s advice on solving a first job or guidance on career development, the team is available to help.
Accessing the service
The Employment Team can be accessed by:
• Come to the centre and ask for an appointment
• Referrals following an appointment with our Advice Team
• External organisations and individuals can make referrals by emailing info@covrefugee.org or calling our reception on 02476 227254
What support we offer
The team offer a tailored, impartial and varied support service which is adapted to each client’s needs. This includes:
• Career advice.
• Creating CV’s and cover letters.
• Mentoring.
• Job searching support.
• Assistance with completing applications.
• Employability skill-based training.
• Interview skills and practice.
• Help with finding work experience.
• Providing employment related advice, guidance and much more…
