Integration Officer

£24,333 – £25,956 pro rata

Working 10 hours per week

Fixed term until 30th June 2027

Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC) is the only organisation in Coventry dedicated to providing impartial and confidential advice, guidance and support to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in and around the city. We are a local, medium-sized organisation which has been welcoming refugees and migrants since 2000. Our aim is to help people to rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential in safety and dignity whilst supporting integration and encouraging active citizenship. 

We currently have a very exciting vacancy for a Integration Officer who will work with a rolling caseload of refugee clients to help them to integrate into UK and Coventry life.  

This role requires an experienced Integration Officer who will encourage clients’ engagement in the community by supporting, signposting, running social activities, connecting communities, organising big events and trips, and engaging with clients who require additional social engagement support. The Officer will also enable and support the clients’ resettlement and integration through information sessions, city tours and a welcome meal

To be successful in the role, you will have excellent interpersonal and motivational skills along with a can-do and organised approach. You will also be confident in working in a one-to-one and group setting.

 Fluency in Arabic and ability to provide some linguistic support when needed is highly desired

The post will be based at Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre, Norton House, Bird Street, Coventry, CV1 5FX and at times at locations within Coventry.
