Facilities Manager

£31,363.50-£32,985.75 per annum pro rata

36 hours per week

Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC) is the only organisation in Coventry dedicated to providing impartial and confidential advice, guidance and support to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in and around the city. We are a local, medium-sized organisation which has been welcoming refugees and migrants since 2000. Our aim is to help people to rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential in safety and dignity whilst supporting integration and encouraging active citizenship.

We currently have a very exciting vacancy for a Facilities Manager, who will be responsible for all aspects of the CRMC’s facilities management and premises.

The successful candidate will conduct risk assessments and identity potential hazards and evaluate associate risk and develop risk management strategies.

The post holder will be able to deliver minor works in the maintenance and repair of buildings, design and implement appropriate procedures with respect to facility management and meet and maintain Health & Safety and Fire Safety standards. Furthermore, the post holder will have a meticulous approach to work, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

The post holder will be able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and landlords.

The post will be based at Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre, Norton House, Bird Street, Coventry, CV1 5FX and at other locations within Coventry.
