Working Tuesdays 4.5 per week (12- 4 pm)

Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC) is the only organisation in Coventry dedicated to providing impartial and confidential advice, guidance and support to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in and around the city. We are a local, medium-sized organisation which has been welcoming refugees and migrants since 2000. Our aim is to help people to rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential in safety and dignity whilst supporting integration and encouraging active citizenship.

We currently have a very exciting vacancy for a Men’s group volunteer

This role requires Men’s Group project volunteers support the Men’s group activity sessions which provide a friendly and sociable environment for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants where they can feel comfortable, safe, relaxed and supported. The role will entail engaging clients with games and activities including outings and workshops and also basic tasks such as set up and clearing away activities.

*Volunteers must be men and able bodied due to essential physical activity.*

The post will be based at JCT, 7 Lamb Street, Coventry, CV1 4AE.
